The idea for Kiwi Lane started while we found ourselves complaining to each other that most of the samples that we found in magazines and online from "designers" were for one-picture, one-page layouts and depended heavily on expensive embellishments and a long supplies list to accomplish their look. Although the pages were beautiful, recreating them was hard on our budget, and we preferred the opt

ion to design two-page layouts so that we could fit more photos and tell a complete story with each page we created. This frustration led us to develop a new style of scrapbooking that provided endless inspiration and simplified the process. It changed how we scrapbooked, allowing us to add as many pictures as we wanted and still end up with a beautiful, balanced, professional layout every time. Because this method takes advantage of the gorgeous prints and patterns in our paper stashes, we could also create stunning pages without spending a small fortune on traditional embellishments. As scrapbookers ourselves, this new technique solved all of our concerns, and we fell in love with scrapbooking all over again! Join us at 3:30 p.m. as we open the September Kiwi Club kit and welcome a new month of creativity together.

We’ll walk through the papers, Designer Templates, colors, and creative direction behind this month’s collection. We’ll begin noticing what sparks ideas, which stories might fit, and where we may want to begin when it’s time to create.

This isn’t a full workshop or step-by-step class. It’s a simple monthly starting point—a chance to feel oriented, gather inspiration, and settle into the creative rhythm of the month ahead.

We’ll also hear from Kiwi Club members about how the kits, Play-to-Create®, and the Club community help them begin, use more of what they already own, and make scrapbooking a more consistent part of their lives.
Whether you’re already a Kiwi Club member or you’re curious about what the Club experience is like, come pull up a chair, see what’s inside, and explore the possibilities with us.

One of my favorite things about the Kiwi Lane method of scrapbooking is that I don’t need a million different supplies to create adorable layouts. ✂️💛

With a few favorite templates, paper, photos, and basic tools, I can still create pages that feel layered, creative, and completely unique.

And I appreciate that even more when I travel! It makes it so easy to pack up a small selection of supplies and bring my favorite hobby along for the adventure. 🧳✨

Tell me your scrapbooking style 👇

Do you love finishing a whole layout in one sitting, or do you like working in pieces over a few days?

I honestly think both count. Sometimes the creativity flows and you just want to keep going until the page is done. Other times, giving yourself permission to design one day, cut another day, and add the details later is exactly what helps the layout actually get finished.

There’s no right way to scrapbook. The best rhythm is the one that keeps you creating. ✂️✨
