We want to take a moment to express a very heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone that helped make Middlesex Music Festival such a special and successful collaboration this past weekend. To carry on a local event that has been a staple in this little tight-knit community for nearly 50 years is a pure honor that wouldn't be possible without each of you.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity of Peter Gerbic, who allows us to gather on his land year after year. Thank you, Peter!!
We would also like to thank the Musicians and Sound Professional that shared their talent and their energy with all of us - Good Weather String Band, Aaron Lipp + Yarms, Bobby Henrie with Tyler Westcott & Friends, The Mustard Tigers, special guests Ric Robertson & Richie Stearns, Mark Bayer, Eastern Boys in Western Shirts, and Hakeem Dodley.
Thank you to Tavos Antojitos Y Tequila for the wonderful food, The Vino Valet for providing an awesome selection of local beverages, and the artisan vendors for bringing a fun and colorful selection of treasures and handmade goodies.
Most of all, we couldn't do this without each and every one of you supporting us in the crowd and the many volunteers that help make everything run smoothly year after year - from planning, to set up, to parking and clean up!!
There was no better way to wrap up the evening than dancing in the rain and under the stars to Eastern Boys in Western Shirts. We appreciate the folks that stuck around through the downpour and delay. In case you missed it, here is a little bit of the late-night jam for y'all!
