People’s Artist Result (3rd Place)

We’ve got some news to share, and honestly, we’re incredibly grateful.

Joshua Kersky has officially finished 3rd place in the People’s Artist competition.

That’s a huge accomplishment, and we want to thank every single person who took the time to vote, share, and support us throughout this entire journey. It truly means more than we can put into words.

This contest gave us more than just a placement—it gave us exposure, connections, and the chance to show what we do on a much bigger stage. We’re beyond thankful for the opportunity.

We’re also proud to share that through this journey, we’ve become members of the Bell County Chamber of Commerce. To our knowledge, this is a big step forward for a tattoo studio in our area, and we’re proud to be part of helping break old stigmas around tattooing.

Tattooing isn’t what it used to be seen as. Today it’s nurses, teachers, parents, business owners—everyday people choosing art, expression, and meaning. We’re proud to be part of that change.

Thank you again to everyone who supported us. We couldn’t have done it without you.

As the final day of this round of the People’s Artist competition comes to a close tonight at 10 PM, we just want to take a moment to say thank you.

When Josh was entered into this contest with a drawing he completed back in 2013, neither of us expected any of this. We entered it on a whim and honestly never thought much more about it. Then people started voting, he advanced into the Top 20, and suddenly this became a journey we never saw coming.

Round after round, Josh continued to advance, and now, heading into the final hours of this round, he’s holding the #3 spot. No matter what happens from here, we’re incredibly grateful and proud of how far he’s come.

This experience was never really about winning. It was about sharing Josh’s artwork and seeing how many people would come together to support an artist from our small community. The amount of encouragement, shares, messages, comments, and daily votes we’ve received has meant more than we can put into words.

We know this contest has lasted a long time, and we understand that remembering to vote every day—or even clicking a link online—isn’t everyone’s favorite thing to do. We completely get it. That’s what has made the support we’ve received even more meaningful. Through it all, we’ve definitely noticed the people who consistently showed up for Josh, and we appreciate every one of you.

Whether Josh advances to the quarterfinals tonight or not, we’re thankful for the opportunity, grateful for the friendships and support we’ve seen along the way, and honored that so many people believed in his talent enough to stand behind him.

To whoever ultimately takes home the title, congratulations. This competition supports a good cause, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.

🍕☀️ SUMMER COMMUNITY PIZZA DAY ☀️🍕

School’s out, summer is here, and before the Fourth of July holiday, we wanted to do a little something for our community.

On July 2, Addicted Ink will be giving away free pizza and water to anyone who stops by.

We’ll be serving until the last slice is gone!

Whether you’re a kid on summer break, a parent running errands, or just passing through, stop by and grab a couple slices of pizza and a bottle of water on us.

This isn’t a promotion or a sale—just a small way for us to say thank you to the community that continues to support our locally owned business.

We hope to see some familiar faces and maybe make a few new friends along the way.
