While I dont down any small business trying to make it, it just baffles me when i see other people/ small businesses doing alot of what I do but more on a production scale. By that I mean mostly done by a machine, their wood is machined, the etchings they put on it as decor is done by either etching paste or lazer engraver, etc... Meanwhile im over here getting heat blisters on my finger tips trying to actually burn something onto wood and sell. My efforts seem to go un-noticed some days tho, I see the others selling things left and right (alot of their stuff looks like it came straight from the store) and I can't seem to get a consistent flow of customers. The ones I currently have and gain daily I truly appreciate. Because of people like them it shows me that someone in my standing is still appreciated and they would prefer the hand work that goes into making something unique for them rather then something they can buy in the store! With all that being said, support your local small business! If you want something that looks exactly like what someone else has, go to the other guys, but if you want 2 of the same things that don't look exactly identical come to me! My products may not have those crisp clean lazer lines but you will know that it was made custom just for you!
