Starting May 23rd in Massachusetts, you can ride a dinner train through Cape Cod aboard the Cape Cod Central Railroad! The ride takes you through some of the best coastal scenery in the state, all while you sit down to a full meal inside a classic train car. This is the “Cape Cod Dinner Train” run by the Cape Cod Central Railroad, where you board and take your seat at a table set with white linens inside restored railcars with polished wood and large windows. As the train moves through Cape Cod towns, salt marshes, and along the water, a five-course dinner is cooked and served right at your table. The ride is smooth, with soft music playing as you eat and take in the views outside. Every ticket includes the full meal, and you can choose from different seating like standard dining cars or dome cars with wider views. A full bar is also on board, with drinks available for purchase. The full trip lasts about 3 to 3.5 hours, giving you plenty of time to relax, eat, and enjoy the ride. Dinner train service returns in June each year, making it a great time to plan a visit. While it onlys runs the 23rd and 30th of May, you can book this train ride on various Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from June through October!
