"After 40 Years, the Curtain Descends on Theatre One Productions." The Curtain has descended after 40 Years, on Theatre One Productions, in Middleborough. I want to thank my sister, all the talented Playwrights, Directors, Actors, Students, Stage-Managers and Production Crews over the years, for your hard work, talent and trust, along with financial support from the Middleboro Cultural Council, the Lakeville Arts Council, the Gifted Psychics from the South Coast area, at our annual Fundraiser, and you our wonderful audience. And I can't forget St Genesius, Patron Saint of Actors, for his Spiritual Support.

Seen here are the cast members Of Theatre One's final performance ,"A Slice of Life," where 10 New 10 Minute plays were read and where the audience voted on the winning play, which turned out to be HOME BODIES, written by Mary-Anne Cartier from South Weymouth. The companies final performance took place this weekend at the VFW Hall in Middleboro. The talented cast in photo, brought the plays to life, for a very happy audience who got to vote for the winning play Now in order of appearance they are from L To R standing are : Kiah Allaire, Alan Bradford, Linda Merritt, Tom Conway, Jeff Levesque, Ron Biever, Adian Weaver. Seated are; Kim Geisier, Susan Salvesen, Pauline Rockwell, Ann Marie Foley. Theatre One thanks everyone who for nearly 40 years, supported the company.

Hear are the 11 talented actors bringing the words of the playwrights to life at TOP’S A SLICE OF LIFE NEW WORKS FESTIVAL TURN 20 YEARS OLD
AS Theatre One turns 40, we celebrate our “A Slice of Life,” turning 20, Saturday April 13 at 7:30pm and Sunday April 14, at 2pm, at the VFW 12 Station St Middleboro. “A Slice of Life,” produced by Theatre One, and sponsored in part by the Middleboro Cultural Council, and the Lakeville Arts Council for 20 years, is going back to where the festival began, in the year 2004 at the VFW Hall on 12 Station St and again brings to life, the words of 10 New 10-mimute plays, submitted by Mass and RI Playwrights. The Reading committee selected 10 of the many plays submitted and now the audience takes over and votes for the winner and awards the Playwright, the Richard Pacheco Playwrighting Award of $100. All tickets $10 cash only! No Reservations. A cash bar with doors opening half hour prior to performance, and plenty of free parking at the VFW. No reservations. Come and support the work of these talented artists and the program’s anniversary. Remember, No theatre without Playwrights. [email protected]
