🚒🍔🌮 Ladies and Gentlemen... It's Time for the GRAND FINALE! 🍕🍋🍺
Join us TONIGHT Thursday, June 18th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM for the LAST Food Truck Night of our Spring Season at Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine!
Let's send this season off with a bang and support some amazing local vendors:
🍤 Conrad's
🥐 Kelly's Kitchen and Bakery– a local favorite!
🍋 Signature Sips – serving up her famous fresh-squeezed lemonade!
🍺 Independent Brewing Company – slinging ice-cold beers all evening!
🍩 Stefano D'Alessio – serving his delicious homemade fry dough!
These Food Truck Nights would not be possible without the incredible partnership and support of Bethlehem Church. Week after week, they have organized these events, brought together amazing vendors, and generously donated their proceeds to support Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine. Their commitment to our community and our volunteers has made a tremendous impact, and we are truly grateful for everything they have done this season.
Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and your appetite for one last evening of great food, cold drinks, and community fun!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has attended, supported our vendors, and helped make this season such a success. We hope you'll join us one more time as we wrap up another fantastic spring season together.

BALTIMORE COUNTY BREAKS GROUND ON NEW ESSEX PRECINCT

The Baltimore County Police Department marks the next chapter of service in Precinct 11 with the groundbreaking of a new Essex Precinct.

The project represents a $29.9 million investment in public safety and the future of policing in Baltimore County. The new 34,000 square-foot renovation and expansion is designed with a focus on officer safety, operational efficiency, and community engagement.

New Precinct Features:
• 40-seat community room
• Memorial garden
• New conference and office space
• New holding cells
• A secure entrance for transferring detainees
• Secure parking area for Police with Sallyport for prisoner intake
• Welcoming public plaza and lobby

During the renovation, a 26,000-square-foot addition will be constructed to temporarily house Department members. After the addition is complete, staff will relocate there so the existing 8,000-square-foot main building can undergo renovation. The final phase will be connecting to renovated main building to the new addition. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2028.

Since its construction in 1973, the Essex Precinct has faced increasing space constraints, resulting in 20 to 30 of its 161 employees working offsite, which is one of the main reasons for the project moving forward.

What councilmanic district will you be in, who are the candidates for Baltimore County Council, and what are their priorities?

Valleys Planning Council worked with the Baltimore County Land Trust Coalition to create a questionnaire for Baltimore County Council candidates. We focused on issues that are important to the rural, agricultural parts of the county as well as topics of interests to all.

For a link to the responses, visit https://www.thevpc.org/latest-news/county-council-voters-guide/ . The primary will be held June 23.
