It Takes a Community!

The Micanopy Fall Festival Committee has been working hard behind the scenes. Our committee meets year round to organize all the little details that make this festival successful year after year. ❤️

The committee is made up of dedicated volunteers representing these wonderful local nonprofit organizations:

🍁 Micanopy United Methodist Church
🍁 Mount Bethel Baptist Church
🍁 Micanopy Historical Society
🍁 Micanopy Area Cooperative School
🍁 Paradise Community Church
🍁 Church of the Mediator
🍁 Friendship 4-H of Micanopy
🍁 Micanopy Masonic Lodge #29
🍁 Micanopy Academy
🍁 Micanopy Athletics Association
🍁 Friends of the Micanopy Library

Thank you all for helping to make our festival (and our community) so special!

We can’t wait to see everyone October 31–November 1 in Historic Downtown Micanopy! 🎃🍁

Check out our 2026 Micanopy Fall Festival T-shirt.

This year, we are celebrating Brod Rivers and Marcia Woodside (deceased).

What started as a modest class presentation at University of Florida grew organically into the beloved Micanopy Fall Festival.

Marcia chose Micanopy, Florida known as “town that time forgot” for its quiet charm and ancient oak trees. The town loved the proposal and agreed to give it a try. After 50 years, the festival is better than ever — thanks to our non-profit organizations, businesses, and community!

We hope that you will come celebrate with us.
