As I see more humanoid robots like Tesla’s Optimus and Figure's designs emerging, I keep circling back to where we stand in hand design. Specifically, I’m focused on how much freedom each finger has to match the flexibility and capability of our flesh-and-bone counterparts.

The thumb for example basically can move like your shoulder does in relation to your palm and index.  It’s a pretty unique relationship. I do my best to try to recreate it here.

I remember hearing about Vizcom some time ago. Felt like it was going in the right direction as far as being AI for designers, and it looks like they are getting damn good at it. I fed it my Beatles sketch for fun and actually, really like the results it generated from this screenshot.

Thinks it's work doing a deep dive and possible a demo on using AI in your CAD design process?
