Mainstage Junior is Miami Childrens.Theate's most popular class. It is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the world of musical.theater. Mainstage Junior is registration- based so everyone that signs up has a role in the show. We take special care to encourage and teach children new to theater. This spring we will be doing Willie Wonka Kuds - a great show! Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from.4:30 to 6.pm beginning Januaury 20th. The end result of the class is putting on a full-scale production of Willie Wonka for family and friends to see!

Miami Childrens Theater is proud to announce our 2025 Summer Camp shows! MCT returns for our 29th year of summer camp fun with our time-tested format of campers working four weeks on a musical and then performing it for their family and friend at the end of the session. The camp will be formatted as such: 5 to 8 year olds have their own camp. They will be performing A Year With Frog and Toad in Session A and Winnie the Pooh Kids in Session B. The older camp will be for kids 9 to 14, and they will be performing Matilda Jr. Session A and Legally Blonde Jr. in Session B. Teens – we also have something for you! Because of space limitations we are not going to have a camp per se but we will do a show (a really good show!) Rehearsals for that show will run M W Th from 5 to 9 for six weeks. Miami Childrens Theater has the most amazing summer camp for your kid! Now in it's 28th year, Miami Childrens Theater offers fun and educational summer camps for ages 5 through 8 year olds, 9 through 12 year old's and teenagers 13-18. Our format has remained the same since 1996 - campers work four weeks on a big musical and at the end of the session perform it for friends and family. The camp is located at our new home at 8835 SW 123nd Street by the Falls. Session A is June 10th through July 3rd. Session B is July 8th through August 2nd. This is our BIG weekend! We will have Into the Woods performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, April 13th, Miami Childrens Theater will hold a reception and silent auction fundraiser to help MCT with their move. The fundraiser starts at 5 pm !
