This Labor Day, we’re celebrating the people who make it all happen at Sandrell Rivers Theater.

From programming and marketing to production, technical support, guest services and everything that happens behind the scenes, it takes a team to create the experiences our audiences see on stage and throughout our space.

What do we carry with us when we leave home?

Viajando is a multidisciplinary dance theatre work exploring migration, memory, identity, and the experiences of women across generations. Through movement, live music, text, and storytelling, the work connects the journeys of immigrant women with the daughters and generations who inherit their stories.

Rooted in contemporary dance and Afro-Caribbean movement traditions, Viajando is a reflection on what we inherit, what we survive, and what we choose to transform.

🎨✨ Our friends at Miami-Dade County present Youth Arts in the Parks, coming to Sandrell Rivers Theater this fall!

We’re excited to serve as a host location for Youth Arts in the Parks, an All Kids Included – Accessible Arts Experience for Kids presented by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.

Young artists ages 6–17 (and youth with disabilities up to age 22) can explore their creativity through weekly arts programming in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
