Key West Plein Air Painters

Key West Plein Air Painters Informal gathering of artists who gather Wednesdays at 9:30 am til approximately 12 noon at a different location in Key West every week. All welcome!

There is no cost or signup. Work in whatever medium. The Key West Plein Air Painters is an informal group of painters - no need to call ahead or sign up for anything, just come when you wish. We meet on Wednesdays at around 9:30-10:00 and paint til noon or so, then sometimes have lunch together afterwards. All sessions are free, bring your own supplies, any media. We meet in the general vicinity,

but feel free to spread out and paint whatever you wish. There is no instruction, but I will be glad to help or answer any questions. Elizabeth Chamberlain

Here is the plein air schedule for Jan and Feb: Always open to new painting places...just send message. We meet approx 930AM - 12 Noon unless otherwise noted...

Jan 7: Schooner Wharf: If you wish to go to elevated area, please begin closer to 9AM and finish as the lunch crowd arrives

Jan 14th: Audubon House and Gardens

Jan 21: 711 Ashe Street Home and Gardens (Beautiful property with pool hidden behind lush foliage/owners graciously allowing our group to paint on the grounds)

Jan 28: Perry Hotel and Marina area/Stock Island

Feb 2: The Meadows/Newton and Pearl Streets

Feb 11: Terry Lane/KW Lighthouse

Feb 18: East Martello/Garden Club area

Feb 25: Hogfish Bar and Grill area Stock Island
