Butterflies are a reminder that we can grow and transform. The discomfort we face when encountering obstacles is inevitable, just as caterpillars go through a deep process in which they become beautiful butterflies. Changes aren’t easy, but the beauty lies in the perspective we choose to take.
Inspired by my own story, I created this butterfly, my first piece in the “Infinite Beauty” collection. In this series, I reinterpret insects and butterflies through painting and embroidery, inviting the viewer to pause, observe the details, and live in the present moment
Migration involves undergoing a radical transformation. Although we remain essentially the same, the experience leaves a profound mark on our identity and our being. Our roots, culture, and previous experiences will always be a part of us. Like the butterfly, we can embrace the beauty of our new reality, which will be enriched by new traditions, experiences, and the interculturality that surrounds us.
