This is my daughter Peyton Rose Rogers! She was diagnosed with autism at 3 years old. She has been Non verbal for so long.. I cried when I first heard her call me Mommy. She is now 8 years old.. she has been trying so hard to learn and use words. I am her biggest fan. I love everything about her. She’s smart, caring, attentive. She hasn’t been treated the fairest by outsiders so I have been sheltering her. But she’s an Amazing little soul! Thank you for accepting me into the groupThis is my daughter Peyton Rose Rogers! Hi. I wanted to introduce myself. My 18 year old daughter Ava was diagnosed with autism today and I started crying because we have been through so much since she was little with the not pooping in the toilet till she was 5. She didn't like people looking at her and talking to her and there was alot more things. As she got older she was diagnosed with anxiety, adhd, ocd, sensory perception disorder, pots and gastroparesis. She also has a very bad fear of throwing up. Anyway through all of this she works and just graduated from high school. Thanks for having me. I wish she was tested sooner and when I spoke to her psychiatrist who has been seeing her since she was 9 about having her tested she said there is no way she has autism, well guess what..Hi. An encouragement post, my daughter is 17 and like many of our children struggles to interact with others, that is unless she’s at a Renfair She is able to chat with others, dance, and just have fun! There are so many other ND people at these events and those who aren’t are typically very, very, very welcoming to those who are a little “different”. My non verbal almost 4 year old said I love you today. I didnt know if I would ever hear him say anything. He never ceases to amaze me. He has  apraxia and level 1 autism. We’ve been doing speech therapy since he was almost 2. I’m so proud to be his mommy.My non verbal almost 4 year old said I love you today. I didnt know if I would ever hear him say anything. Love these chairs. But walmart needs to do better because they leave them out side and parents have to get them where I live... its average 120 in the shade. Not to mention dust storms. So not only do parent have to wait for them to cool off and clean them our selves most the time the straps are so sun rotted they leave the funky black bits on cloths they break and defect the whole purpose of the chairsLove these chairs.
