Lockheed Model 10-E Electra,named from a star in the Pleiades.Wind-tunnel work took place at the U of Michigan.Flown by Amelia Earhart. Also then student Kelly Johnson worked on her, changing the single tail to double tails later becoming the Lockheed trademark
