This was a fun one. I worked on this story about a musician focused doctor and clinic in New Orleans, with our editorial director Adam Marcus, writer Sharon Donovan and photographer Katie Sikora.

Adam asked me if we could find a good shooter in New Orleans that could handle the assignment with quick turn around. That lead me to Katie. I knew from the first peek at her portfolio, we had to hire her. Based in NOLA ... she combines the right mix of photojournalism, portrait and music photography that I was hoping to find. We weren’t able to use special lighting equipment and she had to work fast. With our backgrounds in music, it was easy communication between Katie and I. I think the shoot came out better because of it. I’m looking forward to working with her again in the future. If you have the time, please click and read.
