In 1998, The Mix Afterhours Nightclub officially opened and quickly became a cultural phenomenon that would forever impact the nightlife of South Beach, Miami. A key factor that separated The Mix from other clubs in the scene was its unique focus and introduction of cutting edge and underground tracks from European artists and producers, mainly from the Nether

lands, the UK and Germany. The Mix featured resident DJ, David Padilla, as well as regular performances and appearances by some of the days most iconic and influential artists such as German powerhouse Talla 2XLC, DJ Taucher and emerging artists who would later go onto global stardom including George Acosta and Tiesto.
