I had just taken a typography class and got completely obsessed with lettering and different fonts. Instead of applying it to school, I was out all night applying it to the streets.
This one was off the Palmetto with Cmen and Fisik. Funny enough, I ended up failing the class… mostly because I was more focused on painting what I was learning on the street than turning in assignments.

Miami has changed a whole lot since these days in some ways for the better, in others not so much but we keep evolving.

Also giving a first preview of a special piece I’m creating for my upcoming solo show at this September.

Soon after X passed, hit me up to paint a tribute mural for a jam celebrating X the night before , plus another mural live the day of the event.

At the time, I wasn’t too familiar with him or his music yet. But with only a couple hours, no projector, no doodle grid, and right in the middle of Art Basel madness, we made it happen.

This one always stands out to me because not long after, I became a fan of and what he created. I genuinely believe he was a generational talent taken way too soon. The way he could move through different genres so naturally and effortlessly was rare. It felt like there was no lane he couldn’t step into.
Some artists make music for a moment. Some leave a mark. He did both. Huge shout out to for putting this memorable Jam together and keeping X’s memory and legacy Alive.

“The Cost of Freedom?”
What is the cost of freedom to you?

This 2-hour study 12x18 “ was my first real time sitting down and technically experimenting with watercolor. For the subject was my muse.

From the colorful falling pink and teal bullets to composition to the disruptive rages in black, every decision in the piece carries weight and asks its own question.

What is freedom?When is freedom something worth fighting for, and when does it become destructive?When does the idea of freedom protect us, and when can the sense of freedom turn into false entitlement that’s destructive ?

Honored to be a part of this beautiful film, share a scene with the legend , and had one of my murals featured in the movie as well. Seeing it for the first time at the historic Olympia Theatre made the whole experience that much more special.

Big congratulations to .ondarza and the whole cast and crew for putting together a comedy with real heart that takes you through every emotion and keeps you laughing along the way. Grateful to have been a small part of it.

I painted this piece back in 2021, inspired by Bernini’s Christ, reimagined through my lens, as I considered how this sculpture would look placed and illuminated by Miami’s night lights. Created in one of my favorite places on earth, Mindo, Ecuador.

This piece lives at Uefte, a very special school that holds a place in my heart. Grateful to , , and my bro for bringing me out there and for everything they continue to do for the school and the kids.
