In the heart of Miami's vibrant nightlife, there's an artist who doesn't just spin tracks; he crafts experiences and stories. Meet George Vidal (DJ, Producer), a music innovator whose journey through sound is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. For over three decades, George Vidal has been an essential man in Miami's music scene, honing his craft and carving out a niche all his own. From the sun-soaked beaches and rooftops of South Beach, to the intimate underground venues of Downtown and Wynwood, his sets are more than just performances; they're journeys of group-discovery, invitations to dance beneath the stars and lose yourself in the rhythm. But George Vidal's story extends far beyond the borders of Miami; it's a global odyssey that has taken him from the shores of the Bahamas, places like Bogota and Santiago de Chile, to the clubs of Berlin and beyond. His music, a sonic experience that delves into dark atmospheres, woven with unique grooves. His signature sound spans from the depths of house music to the pulsating rhythms of techno, drawing inspiration from the iconic sounds of Chicago, New York, and Detroit. As a producer, George Vidal has left an indelible mark on the industry, with releases on esteemed labels like Star 69 Records (owned by Peter Rauhofer, a Vidal´s music admirer), Dualism Records, and Global Underground. Tracks like “Believe”, "Dark Thought," "Out from Obscurity," and "Listen To Me" (widely supported by names like Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox and Chus, among others), are not just compositions; they're expressions of emotion, snapshots of a journey that continues to unfold with each new beat. But perhaps what sets George Vidal apart isn't just his talent, but his authenticity—the refusal to compromise his artistic vision in pursuit of fame or fortune. His music is a reflection of who he is: a storyteller, a dreamer, and above all, a believer in the transformative power of music to unite and uplift. As you go deeper into the world of George Vidal's soundscapes, may you find yourself immersed in a world of rhythm and resonance. Stay blessed, keep grooving, and let the music of George Vidal continue to captivate your soul with its timeless allure.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. After this many years around music, I think I’ve earned a few opinions. Some come from my own days and nights behind the booth. Others have taken shape through endless conversations, debates and exchanges with DJs, producers, friends and people who have been part of this culture along the way.

I’ve had plenty of these thoughts in my head for years. I just never really made the time to put them here. Now I am. And I’m not particularly interested in saying what everybody already agrees with. If an idea doesn’t challenge anything, what’s the point?

So here’s one of the first. Read it. Agree with it. Disagree with it. Challenge it. Bring your own experience to the table.

The scene gets a lot more interesting when people with something to say actually say it, and even stronger when those ideas are shared, challenged and built on together. That’s how culture moves forward.

What’s your take? 👇

Let us take you on a trip, a little journey... into the underground.

13 frames. 13 moments. One night at Do Not Sit On The Furniture. If you were there, dive back in. If you weren’t, here’s a little glimpse of what went down. The booth. The crowd. The music. The moments in between.

Different DJs, different sounds, one room moving together. This is the club culture we believe in: music with space to breathe, DJs and dancers feeding off each other, and the underground experienced the way it should be lived.

A little piece of Miami after dark.

More soon.

Every time I leave Berlin, I’m reminded why this annual tradition means so much to me. Carl Kruse and the Kruseville family never fail to deliver 🇩🇪

There’s something very special about coming back every year: seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, sharing music, and being part of a community that has become such an important part of my journey.

Carl and Margarita, I’m incredibly grateful for your friendship, your trust, and for continuing to make these annual visits feel like coming home.

Here are a few moments from my POV.

Until next time, Berlin. ❤️

Part 3. Inside .fr 🎚️ After finding our way there, it was finally time to do what I came to Paris for: dig through the crates at Yoyaku.

Come with me for the final part of this little Paris journey as I take you inside one of the places I was most excited to visit. Consider me your personal guide for a little tour around Yoyaku and the records I found along the way.

I'll show you a few of the records that came home with me.

The search for .fr 💽

Getting to a record store in a city you've never visited isn't always as easy as it sounds. Paris has its own rhythm, its own streets, its own little challenges. And finding Yoyaku turned out to be part of the experience.

Hidden away from the obvious routes and not exactly the easiest place to stumble upon, the store feels like a true underground spot, the kind of place you have to actually look for.

But that's what made finally getting there even better. The search was worth it. Next stop: inside Yoyaku for some serious crate digging.

Come along for Part 3. 🎚️

Memory doesn't come with edits.

It comes in flashes.

A smile.
A record.
A packed dancefloor.
A hug.
A familiar face.
Another track.
Another unforgettable moment.

This is how I remember my birthday night.

Raw. Unedited. Real.

Thank you to everyone who filled the room with your energy and celebrated life through music with me.

A special thank you to M2 Miami, Dave Albert, AbueKev, Original Label, PitchPark and everyone who helped make this night possible.

Some memories are simply too good to polish.

Here's to many more nights like this.

Yesterday was full of surprises.

My dear friend stopped by my studio, I haven’t seen him in a few years and what a great surprise it was 🙏 Wow! And to add to that my dear friend and a DJ I have always looked up to, the great Miami OG, .cirollerena stopped by the studio too and on the day of his birthday! 🥳

We had such a good time. Stories, music, laughs… not a single dull moment. The kind of hang that reminds you why we love this culture so much.

So I’m taking this post to say it properly. Thank you both!!

Wishing you both great days ahead, lots of good moments, good health and of course… great music!

Cheers!
