While the studio pauses, something in me keeps moving.

I started making collage at the very beginning of my art journey

Cutting, layering, moving pieces around…
it was my way of understanding color, form, and composition.

In a way, I never stopped.
It just transformed into painting, into fragments, into memory.

These pieces bring me back to that place
inspired by spring light and Florida sunsets,
where everything feels soft, layered, and in between.

This time, I worked directly on 12x12” canvas,
building each piece slowly, like collecting moments

Revisiting a painting that needed something more! 😎 I made this piece a couple of months ago, but something about it felt unresolved. Yesterday I returned to it and allowed the composition to shift. A few new fragments of color changed the entire energy of the painting.

In my work, color planes and fragments create a shifting sense of atmosphere, where balance is never fixed but constantly evolving.

Sometimes a painting simply asks to be revisited 😎
