ESTE VIERNES. Ya sabemos todos que es el mes de la Hispanidad 🇨🇺🇩🇴🇨🇴🇪🇸🇻🇪pero pues tambien deben de saber que en los Viernes Culturales celebramos la Hispanidad todos los meses!!

Pero........como este mes es especial tenemos aun mucho mas que compartir. Tenemos tantas actividades para todas las edades asi que ponganse la pilas para salir de paranda este Viernes.

+++++Attention all Viernes/Local Artists:

South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant to Visual & Media Artists
The South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant Program offers one of the largest regional, government-sponsored artists' grants in the United States, awarding $15,000 and $7,500 grants to resident visual and media artists from the counties of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach. Since it was established in 1988, the Consortium has awarded over to $4 million in grants to over 300 artists. In addition to receiving the grant, the artists take part in an exhibition hosted and organized by a visual arts institution in one of the five counties, and since 2019, artworks by Miami-Dade based artists are acquired and accessioned for the Art in Public Places Collection.

To apply, attendance is required at one informational workshop:
Tuesday, August 4, 5:30pm - 6:30pm Register
Saturday, August 22, 12:00pm - 1:00pm Register
After workshop, application deadline is Monday, September 14, 2026, 11:59pm

The Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 took over Little Havana this week and experienced everything that makes Little Havana so special. We are so sorry they lost, but we are soooo grateful for their visit. They definitely lived up to their fame !

EL grupo de aficionados "Tartan Army", visitará Calle Ocho este lunes. Planean reunirse en la zona de Ball & Chain alrededor de las 2:00 p. m. antes de marchar hacia el estadio de los Marlins a las 4:00 p. m. EL miembro local del grupo que actúa como enlace no avisas que NO menos de 900 personas
Vienen. llegarán a Miami en los próximos días para el partido de Escocia contra Brasil del miércoles.

Para que tengan idea hicieron lo mismo en Boston y se puede ver los videos de la multitud de gente.

Todos están muy entusiasmados por visitar Calle Ocho y disfrutar de las vistas, los sonidos y los sabores que ofrece el barrio.

Estoy preparando una lista de los negocios que ofrecerán promociones especiales para ellos; la idea es facilitarles la compra de ce***za a precios rebajados, por ejemplo, mediante la instalación de puestos con neveras portátiles en el exterior.

Ya la cuidad también está ayudando con logísticas.
