My heart is heavy as we say goodbye to the incomparable Dolly Parton. đź’”
Dolly was so much more than an extraordinary artist, songwriter and entertainer. She was a force of nature whose enormous talent was matched by an even bigger heart. She brought joy, laughter, comfort and inspiration to generations, always with that unmistakable warmth, wit and authenticity that made everyone feel like they knew her.
Her songs told our stories. Her generosity changed countless lives. And through it all, she remained wonderfully and unapologetically Dolly—a woman of faith, strength, humor, kindness and grace.
I feel so fortunate to have shared this journey in music with her and to have witnessed firsthand the light she brought wherever she went. Emilio and I send all our love and deepest condolences to her family, her loved ones and the millions of people around the world whose hearts she touched.
Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the love and the beautiful example you gave us all. Your light will never stop shining. Rest in peace, beautiful Dolly. 🙏🏼❤️
