Zoo Miami One of the biggest, one of the most unique and, definitely, one of the best zoos in the world.

Zoo Miami (also known as The Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens) is the largest and oldest zoological garden in Florida, and the only tropical zoo in the continental United States. The unique climate in South Florida allows us to keep a wide variety of animals from Asia, Australia and Africa, representing a broad mix of species that is unlike any other zoo in the country. Our animals are grouped according to their geographic territories, with species that live together peacefully in the wild placed in exhibits together here at the zoo. Our trees, foliage and even our soil are matched as closely as possible to the native habitats of our animals.

The next adventure for your kids is waiting. 🍂From November 23rd–25th, Zoo Miami Fall Camp: Creature Quest takes campers on a zoo-wide adventure filled with animal encounters, interactive challenges, and discoveries around every corner. Along the way, they’ll learn about wildlife from around the world as they complete their quest.

From Hialeah to the AGT stage, Luke Taleno is now making his way to Monster Masquerade! 🎃🎤 Luke Taleno, the Miami-raised rapper and performer who earned Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent, is bringing his energy to Zoo Miami for one wild night.

On Saturday, October 17th, Monster Masquerade takes over the Zoo from 7PM - 11PM, with live performances by Luke, a costume contest with prizes, after-hours ambassador animal appearances, open bars by Bacardi, and so much more!

Did you know that your coffee can be good for the environment? ☕ Our actions have global impacts and even the coffee we drink can make a real difference! Sustainable coffee growing practices include maintaining shade canopy for birds and other wildlife and reducing the use of pesticides. Shade-grown coffee matures more slowly and therefore has a fuller taste!
