Datum officially turned 4!

We started during a time of incredible uncertainty during COVID. Nobody knew what the future held for live events, but we knew we were full of big ideas and those big ideas needed a new home. With the help of some very dear friends and a lot of hard work, we’ve been able to build more than just a company; it’s a community of talented and passionate folks who strive every day to design and produce great shows.

We’re now three separate companies operating under one roof every day to push the boundaries of live events. Last year, we also moved from our original home in New York City to Nashville, TN. A strategic decision that has allowed us to better serve our clients across the whole business.

Thank you so much to all our clients, friends, and supporters over the last four years. Thank you for trusting us with your projects and for listening to our crazy ideas.

Most of all, thank you to our staff, who work tirelessly to help us continue to grow and evolve.

The last four years have been filled with some incredible moments. As we roll into 2026, there’s plenty more to come!

Ultra Miami 2025

Datum Creative & Datum Rent were commissioned to work with and to produce all Previz Suites and Advance File Prep for Ultra’s Main Stage.

This year saw some incredible advances in the amount of support the festival was able to give to incoming Artist Teams. We built a comprehensive system of accurate lighting & pixel perfect video using Depence to allow all Lighting Directors and Video Directors to fully previsualize the incredible stage design by .

Datum Rent also worked with TAG to provide custom previz equipment in each suite for onsite artist Lighting & Video programming.

WE BELONG HERE • CENTRAL PARK

Our design concept for We Belong Here was crafted to offer an immersive experience that envelops the audience in the vibrant essence of the city.

Central to our design are innovative elements such as the LED batten backdrop, designed to mirror the iconic Manhattan skyline. Complementing this is the circular truss 360 stage, offering breathtaking views from every angle.
