A moment in New York City, shaped by conversation and shared vision.

During her time in New York, curator came together with longtime friends and artists for an evening centered on connection, exchange, and the relationships that continue to shape our gallery.

Beyond the walls of Goldman Global Arts Gallery, these gatherings reflect the community at the heart of creative practice—where dialogue flows, ideas evolve, and meaningful relationships continue to inspire.

Today our focus is on the fascinating work of Millo, one of the two artists currently exhibited in "BEYOND: Echoes of a borderless life."

The Italian artist transforms urban walls globally and canvas alike into poetic reflections of human life. His instantly recognizable black-and-white cityscapes - interrupted by soft touches of color - explore the delicate balance between structure and emotion, solitude and connection.

Swipe through to see details from his 2022 large-scale mural installation at Wynwood Walls, where his monumental figures bring tenderness to our city’s rhythm, and moments from his studio as he paints for the Beyond exhibition: intimate works that beautifully carry the same sense of wonder, just at a closer scale.

With recurring motifs of clouds, airplanes, and quiet dreamers, Millo invites us to pause, reflect, and imagine a gentler way of existing within the world’s noise.
