Theatre Fun Friday 🎭✨

A quick end-of-week moment after a lot of hard work. Our 8th grade Tech Theatre students took a short break from their research projects to join the fun, and we even had a special guest appearance from our amazing AP, Ms. Goodman🥳.

After a strong rehearsal, Theatre 1 jumped in too. A little fun, a lot of teamwork, and right back to creating. Happy Friday! 💙

Happy Friday 🎭✨ We wrapped up the week with the best surprise. In the last ten minutes of class, my students choreographed, directed, and ran the entire piece, and somehow I ended up as the student just following instructions.

When your ensemble can confidently lead, collaborate, and create without you, that’s the real win. Stepping into this new month with creativity, courage, and ownership at the center. 💙

Troupe 88470 took Orlando for the second time 💙
So proud of these students for their hard work, teamwork, and growth this weekend. From performances and workshops to bus rides and candid moments, this trip was filled with memories we will never forget.

Representing the 305 with pride ✨
Superior-rated performances and unforgettable moments with an even more unforgettable group of students. This experience reminded us that theatre is not just about performing, but about discipline, confidence, collaboration, and community.

Congratulations to all troupes who participated👏🏾, and we were honored to represent District 4 🎭

Charles R. Drew K–8 Center is excited to welcome future artists to audition for Magnet programs in Dance, Band, Theatre, and Visual Art 🎶🩰🎨

Students with a passion for performing, creating, and growing as artists are encouraged to attend 🌟

🗓 Auditions are Saturday January 24 and Saturday February 21

An amazing turnout and so much RAM pride on campus. Thank you to all the elementary schools who came out to experience life as a future Ram.
