📣Vanessa Elise is a multidisciplinary artist that holds a BFA in Theatre from the New World School of the Arts. Some previous stage credits include: Miami Motel Stories: Little Havana and MiMo (Vivian, The Commissioner), Lipstick (Ana), Real Women Have Curves (Carmen), Wrongful Death… (Death), Collective Rage (Betty 3), Waiting for Waiting for Godot (Laura), Diego and Drew... Her original one-woman show, Noise: An Interruption (Amaya), was chosen to perform in NY's United Solo Theatre Festival off-Broadway in November 2015. Elise was honored with a Silver Palm for Outstanding New Talent and a Carbonell nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Wrongful Death… and Clark Gable…She has credits in film and TV, including the award-winning M3.769 and Bridges. Elise is a proud board member of the South Florida Theatre League.
📣Josephine Phoenix is a multi-hyphenated artist; as a musician, singer, and actor, she loves the creative process and sharing the stories that find her (along with injecting humor wherever possible). A Stella Adler alumni, some of her musical theater credits are Queenie in The Wild Party at Area Stage Theater Co and Gloria Fajardo in On Your Feet with Prather Productions. She has also toured as a backup musician/singer playing Clarinet Guitar and Percussion for Latin artists like Ricardo Montaner and Yotuel from Orishas. As a 1st generation Cuban/Lebanese/Spaniard mix, to be a part of such a project validates the beauty artistry and importance that the impact of immigration has to a city, town, country, and world.
