Yesterday’s project: hand-dyed coffee filter poppies, built layer by layer into full dimensional blooms and mounted on canvas 🌺 Who loves coffee? Turns out the filters make just as much magic as the brew. Each coffee filter was individually dipped in red and yellow, then our residents shaped, layered, and assembled every petal by hand to create real depth and texture. This is the kind of slow, intentional art-making that lights people up — patience, color theory, fine motor skill, and a finished piece they’re genuinely proud to hold up.
