Enlightened at 1 and Ignorant at 47
There’s a type of person that resurfaces through out history that causes great harm to the progress of civilization. They are difficult to control because they are so passive aggressive, it’s hard to see their aggression.

They are like evil, slimy snails with nice looking shells. From the outside they look perfect, but inside they are vile and poisonous. The shell is all that we see and the snails are convinced that the shell is what matters, not what’s inside.

Though Americans view the founding fathers as all having the same righteous motivations, it’s more than likely that some had selfish motivations in rebelling against the king and his taxes. If all of them were righteously motivated, its likely that America would have no “original sin” and slavery would have ended, in the United States, when the king was defeated.

When Americans won the war, the whole world was freed from monarchy and the power of kings degenerated into symbolic. If America ever was great and living up to its founding doctrine, it was after the civil war and before segregation when everyone was equal.
The snails don’t like equality, because then their shell doesn’t matter as much as what’s inside the shell.

Fantasy worlds are created in the minds of those who are afraid of reality. A closed mind is a phycological defense mechanism to protect the ego. There is a natural desire, in people, to feel important and included.
When people feel ostracized and worthless they usually fall into sadness and hopelessness. In order to be happy people will often go to extremes to fit in, sacrificing reality for an illusion of their importance and worth.
Many people have carefully constructed a fantasy world for themselves to never feel meaningless. When in reality life continues on with, or with out you. No one really has any idea what is really going on with the miracle of life.
There are many theories that try to explain life, but they are all theoretical. Convincing ones self to know what’s going on is really extremely arrogant.
People do have worth, but it doesn’t come from how well you fit in. It comes from how much you are able to grow and mature. A person who only lives to fulfill their base desires, lives like a beast more than like a human.
A human has a difficult time communicating with a beast because a humans perspective is so much deeper. No human can have an in depth conversation with a beast. The same is true for the closed minded, who zealously guard their fantasies afraid of the truth. Like a racist insisting that everyone in one race is the same.

When they ask for blind faith, keep looking.
Leaders selectively blind to the failings of the American social systems have no ground to criticize the social establishments of others. While they praise the rise in the stock market, they ignore the rise in debt. While they talk freedom, they support oppression.

All governments operate through experimentation and every established government is a social experiment. If we want to change something, all it takes is the stroke of a pen. While it’s easy to change laws, it’s more difficult to change the way people think and how they perceive themselves and others. Changing the way people think, changes the laws that citizens demand.

When people think might makes right, they rationalize their behavior of doing wrong as doing right, by thinking controlling others is how society is supposed to operate.
With this mentality war is waged on others in order to gain and maintain control, not for idealogical reasons like, humanitarian aid or self defense.
Bosses and leaders feel they’re in control of their employees and constituents, rather than cooperating together for a common goal.
Teachers teach students to conform to a system of following orders, giving orders and associating it to a hierarchy of superior control over the inferior controlled.
Everyone is the enemy to everyone and a threat to control with this type of thinking.

Part of the problem in recognizing the faults in the American system is the illusion of capitalism as democracy. Many public officials forget that they are in positions of public service and have an out of control ego to control. It isn’t because citizens pay taxes that they can ask officials for help. It’s because the job description of a public servant is to help the public. From the beat cop, to the President everyone in a democracy is equal, a government of the people and for the people.

If we really want to create a fair and equal system, we are going to have to take steps to dismantle the capitalist aspects of our representative democracy (republic).
For a start, the government shouldn’t be in debt to private banking. It should control it’s own banking. If it’s in debt to private banking, then it isn’t in control and it isn’t equal.

Government control raises fears of communism and mismanagement but, the problems associated with capitalism are also proving it to be unsustainable. Capitalism may seem good and fair for the short term, but as a long term solution it leads to division and suffering.
Many societies we call civilized have a great deal of social issues, like homelessness and murder. At the same time many societies classified as uncivilized don’t have these issues, because they cooperate with each other to improve their chances of survival.

A society based on control eventually stagnates and begins to rot because it’s afraid of change. Those in control want to remain in control, even at the cost of progress. A society based on cooperation is constantly evolving to improve, grow, progress and prosper. How we choose to live together is a choice we can make. It isn’t something we just have to learn to live with, like gravity.

We are fighting the wrong war

They can dish it out, but they can’t take it.

When you get very comfortable, it’s difficult to be convinced to give up that comfort. At the same time, when you are very uncomfortable. It’s difficult not to try to get comfortable, or not to hope for future comfort.

A few people have no motivation to put any thought or effort into making progress, because they are comfortable with things the way they are. Asking them to even think of change immediately frightens them and makes them anxious over losing what they think they have, which is superiority over others.

They think that we envy them, without understanding that they represent the ignorant and hateful aspect of humanity that people despise. They actually drive people crazy. The same way that being extremely uncomfortable is torture.

People who have to put others down are too mentally weak to stand by their own merit, so they need to inflate their ego too feel competent. And they’re too ignorant to understand that strength doesn’t last forever. No ones afraid of an old, frail bully with brittle bones, crimes against humanity stain nations conscious for generations and rebellion lasts until oppression stops, even if it takes generations.

From family, to town, to state, to international relations it’s better to talk it out, than it is to fight it out and to make peaceful protests, but defend by any means necessary. Justice doesn’t come from an iron fist, it comes from an iron will.

You don’t fear who you love. You trust who you love with your life.
