Happy Mother’s Day to each one of you incredible, hardworking mothers!

Not the Hallmark version. The real one. The one that includes the exhaustion, the guilt, the love so fierce it scares you, and the constant question of whether you are doing it right.

You are.

Not because you are perfect.
Not because you have it all figured out.
Not the mom the world tells you to be.
Not the one social media celebrates today.

But because you show up, every single day, for a human who needs you more than you will ever fully know, while somehow juggling work, life, and everything in between like the absolute ninja you are.

My only wish for you today is that you give yourself permission to become the fullest, most authentic version of yourself, for your child, and for you. That is the greatest gift you can offer them. No toxic positivity here!

This IWD and Women’s History Month, I invite you into the messy and fulfilling world of loving, living, and being authentically you. To show up for yourself fiercely and loudly.

To try, fail, fall, rise, succeed, and heal, hopefully alongside women who cheer you on, hold you up when you need, and celebrate you!

Then send the elevator back down and lift other women. There is no feeling like it.

Comparing your journey to another’s can take the wind out of your sails.

I want you to be grounded in your breath.
To know that you have something to offer, to start with.
The path appears when you put one foot in front of the other.
