It was such a pleasure to attend the Women of Tomorrow’s Miami-Dade Kick-Off Reception last evening as a future Mentor.

What an inspirational and transformative initiative this is, Founded by Jennifer Valoppi and run by trailblazers across so many industries who are changing the lives of young women daily.

I connected with mentors, community leaders, and supporters, learned more about the program, and celebrated the young women the organization serves across South Florida.

I look forward to my journey as a future mentor and thank The Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove for hosting.

Happy Mother’s Day to each one of you incredible, hardworking mothers!

Not the Hallmark version. The real one. The one that includes the exhaustion, the guilt, the love so fierce it scares you, and the constant question of whether you are doing it right.

You are.

Not because you are perfect.
Not because you have it all figured out.
Not the mom the world tells you to be.
Not the one social media celebrates today.

But because you show up, every single day, for a human who needs you more than you will ever fully know, while somehow juggling work, life, and everything in between like the absolute ninja you are.

My only wish for you today is that you give yourself permission to become the fullest, most authentic version of yourself, for your child, and for you. That is the greatest gift you can offer them. No toxic positivity here!
