Happy Birthday Cindy Walker!!! Today we celebrate you and everyday we work to continue your incredible legacy!! Cindy was morning July 20, 1917 on a family farm in Mary, Texas. Later after a successful 13 years in Hollywood she came back home to Texas and settled in Mexia where she wrote some of her biggest hits like “You Don’t Know Me” and “Dream Baby.”

🍨 Y’all be sure to have an ice cream sundae in her honor today. 🩷

This Friday (7/17), we’re proud to be hosting the annual Cindy Walker Days Pickin’ Party! Kicks off at 3pm, with live music starting at 7!
This is an ALL AGES event, and encourage you to bring the family out! We invite any and all musicians and songwriters to come and share the stage! Will be a day full of good music and stories.
