Cindy Walker Foundation is excited to host "Bubbles in my Beer: A Tribute to Cindy Walker," a night of songs and storytelling at Community Beer Company in Dallas, Texas to pay tribute to legendary Texas Songwriter Cindy Walker. March marks 20 years since the passing of Cindy Walker but the Cindy Walker Foundation continues the work of preserving her incredible legacy.

🎵Artist and Songwriter Erin Enderlin will kick things off as she shares her original songs recorded by Trisha Yearwood, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson and more.

🎤Then kick up your boots for a Tribute to Cindy Walker by Katie Shore and friends. This trio of talented musicians will perform Cindy's biggest hits as we celebrate the most prolific songwriter from the great state of Texas.

Community Beer Co. creates the highest quality craft brews and is partnering with the Cindy Walker Foundation to continue the mission of restoring Cindy's historic Texas home.

They call this “BEER FOR THE GREATER GOOD!” Make sure to get a pint of a special brew just for this event!

SHOW CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT: We regret to inform you the Cindy Walker Foundation must cancel our December 6, 2025 winter fundraiser featuring Kevin Fowler and Peter Sinclair. All refunds have been issued and can take up to 15 days to reflect in your account through point-of-purchase. Those who purchased in July have been contacted via email to facilitate refunds.

WHY? During the process of applying for hotel franchise tax funding through the City of Mexia's application process, we were made aware that the city had not been following state guidelines for administering HOT funds previously. HOT funds come from the people who stay in Mexia hotels and motels. There is a very detailed process to request these funds. This support is budgeted into our planning. Without these funds...we simply can not afford to have the caliber of artists we regularly book for both Cindy Walker Days and the Winter Fundraiser. The new budget for ALL organizations that are eligible for HOT funds is approximately $25,000/YEAR to be split among the qualifying organizations. That would roughly give us $4000. It simply isn't viable for our organization.

We LOVE Cindy's hometown of Mexia. We regret any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused. Our organization must take a step back to reassess the activities we've held in Mexia for years to be able to find a way to continue our work but not at the expense of the mission which is to restore the historic home of Cindy Walker and promote and preserve her legacy.
