Old Franklin Schoolhouse

Old Franklin Schoolhouse Historic venue, community center, and gallery. Non-profit, 100% volunteer organization. By 1901 the old school had fallen into disrepair.

Built ca. 1807, the Old Franklin Schoolhouse served as a one-room schoolhouse until the 1870s, then used as a private home by an Irish cobbler. A civic league formed in 1901 to rescue the building and use it as a clubhouse from which to improve the local community. It remains owned and maintained by this private non-profit, the Borough Improvement League, and serves a number of community purposes.

From meeting space for like-minded non-profits, space for fundraisers, concerts, performance space, private event rentals, town events, and more. Open upon request for historical tours and to view our new art space, "Transformations Gallery." Contact us at [email protected].

We're terribly sorry to shared the news that this show is POSTPONED due to a personal emergency!

TICKET HOLDERS: Check your email for instructions... If you would like a refund, let us know. If you want to hold onto your ticket until we figure out the new date, you don't have to do anything but sit tight until the new date is announced - and if you can't make that, we can refund you then.

We are VERY SORRY to have to postpone! It was going to be an amazing show - and will be when it's rescheduled!
