Due to the expected massive storm, Borough offices will be closed tomorrow. Therefore, we will also be cancelling the February 23 Arts Council meeting.

Please mark your calendars for our next meeting on March 16, 7:30pm at the Senior Center.

The Metuchen Arts Council is looking for input on events in which we should be involved for the 2026/2027 program years. As a Commission of the Borough of Metuchen our monthly meetings are open to the public. We are encouraging interested parties to attend one of those sessions and let us know your ideas.

Our meetings are the third Monday of each month, or the fourth Monday in the event of a Holiday, at the Metuchen Senior Center on Center Street at 7:30 pm. Please consult the Borough Calendar for specific dates.

The Metuchen Arts Council fosters, promotes, encourages and celebrates the Arts in Metuchen, in order to enhance the quality of life and spirit of community for all of the residents of the Borough. We do this by:

"Metuchen at 125: Our People, Our Stories" continues.
Today, Juan Hidalgo added to his already impressive portfolio with these images.
Here is what Juan said about them:
1. From the day she was installed, i knew this was the picture i wanted.. well, snow would've been better.. regardless two Metuchen icons on a rainy night.
2. Through Myrtle Woods, over the creek onto the park.
3. Sunset, an empty pitch, a ball.. beautiful new pitch at Myrtle Park.
4. A bridge, the truck eating bridge they call it, at rest.
