The Metuchen Arts Council will present its final 2026 summer concert on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:00 pm at The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, next to the Metuchen Library. We are pleased to present Grateful Dead & Classic Rock band “Too Cool to Bluff” ( https://youtu.be/N_Rnl73mbtw?si=ggtFLp8OtOMKagCP ). Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy one last taste of summer with some terrific entertainment.

Due to yesterday's storm, Borough offices are closed today. Therefore, we will also be cancelling tonight's Arts Council meeting.

Please mark your calendars for our next meeting on Feb. 23, 7:30pm at the Senior Center. Note that this is one week later than usual because of the Presidents' Day holiday.

The Metuchen Arts Council is looking for input on events in which we should be involved for the 2026/2027 program years. As a Commission of the Borough of Metuchen our monthly meetings are open to the public. We are encouraging interested parties to attend one of those sessions and let us know your ideas.

Our meetings are the third Monday of each month, or the fourth Monday in the event of a Holiday, at the Metuchen Senior Center on Center Street at 7:30 pm. Please consult the Borough Calendar for specific dates.

The Metuchen Arts Council fosters, promotes, encourages and celebrates the Arts in Metuchen, in order to enhance the quality of life and spirit of community for all of the residents of the Borough. We do this by:
