Think you’re too late to join Cajun French classes? Think again.

You can be caught up with the rest of the class after watching just ONE video.

Our Kid & Adult Virtual Live Cajun French Classes are still open for registration, so there’s no need to wait for the next session or worry about being behind.

Watch the first class replay, get up to speed, and then join us live for the rest of the session.

It’s an easy way to finally start learning Cajun French from wherever you are.

Registration closes Wednesday, September 2nd.

Over the course, we focus on the language you actually need to have conversations in Louisiana French — practical everyday vocabulary, natural speech patterns, understanding spoken Cajun French, and how to talk about the past, present, and future. The goal is to build the skills and confidence to actually participate in conversations, not just memorize vocabulary.

And if you’re worried that you’ve already missed the beginning, don’t be. Watch the replay of the first class and you can be caught up with the rest of the class. Most class sessions are recorded so you can review lessons and stay on track.

For kids, the classes are shorter and designed around Boudini et Ses Amis, familiar stories, pictures, and everyday Louisiana French. Students learn vocabulary and phrases, practice speaking through guided activities, and build toward talking about themselves, their families, and where they’re from.

Register at www.cajun-french.com This course introduces middle school and high school aged students to conversational Louisiana French through familiar stories, cartoons, and everyday language. Using vocabulary from the first episodes of Boudini et Ses Amis on Télé-Louisiane, along with phrases gathered from interviews with older native French speakers, students will build practical speaking skills in a fun and interactive 30-minute class each week.

Before each class, students will watch an episode of Boudini et Ses Amis and receive a short list of words to listen for. During class, photos and guided activities will help them practice using those words in conversation. Over the course of the semester, students will gradually build the confidence to introduce themselves, talk about their family, and share where they are from.

What They’ll Learn

* Common words and expressions used in everyday Louisiana French
* How to introduce yourself in Louisiana French
* How to talk about your family
* How to talk about where you are from
* How to understand and recognize spoken Louisiana French
* Confidence speaking Louisiana French with other students
* Practical conversational skills through stories, pictures, and guided activities
