Virgin Valley Theatre Group was glad to be part of this conversation. Treasurer/Trustee Richard Cook represented VVTG at MORF's regional tourism roundtable, alongside leaders from lodging, dining, recreation, and small business. Live theatre — and Mesquite Community Theatre specifically — is part of what visitors do here and part of the quality of life for the people who live here year-round. Not every kid who loves theatre wants to be center stage.

Some want to build the world. Paint it, light it, dress it, run it from the wings.

This spring, Rising Stars is doing both. Page to Stage — ten Tuesday afternoons of acting, characterization, auditions, costumes, makeup, props, scenery, lighting, sound, and stage management. No experience needed. Snacks provided.

Ages 6-18. Dates and registration coming soon.
