The Kimbrough Orchestras are incredibly excited to welcome our new principal, Mrs. Lacy Starnes! We look forward to sharing all of the amazing things our orchestra students are doing at KMS! 💙🎻👏🏻

Meet the new principal Kimbrough Middle School, Lacy Starnes! 🎉

Lacy’s career as an educator began 15 years ago at John Horn High School, where she served as a teacher and coach before becoming an instructional coach there in 2016. In 2018, she joined Terry Middle School as assistant principal before moving into the role of assistant principal/instructional dean at West Mesquite High School in 2020. Lacy earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M-Commerce and her master’s degree from Lamar University.

What a wonderful way to end the year! Students gave a fantastic performance at their spring concert. We ended it with a BANG! Literally! Glow sticks and confetti guns to close out the 2023-2024 school year! Congrats to all! 👏🏻🎉🎻💙

NEXT WEEK! Join the Kimbrough Orchestras as they present their Spring Concert on Thursday, May 9th, at 6:30 pm. The students have prepared a fun concert that may or may not involve glow sticks! 😃🎻🎼👏 Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
