My retreat paintings arrived in the mail yesterday.

Looking at them now, I don’t just see paint. I see a weekend of learning, laughter, encouragement, and growth. I see moments where I doubted myself, and moments where someone reminded me to keep going anyway.

This 20×20 has a special place in my home—not because it’s the best painting I’ve ever made, but because of what it represents.

What stayed with me wasn’t just the artwork.

It was the confidence, encouragement, and friendships I found at the retreat that I’ll carry with me the longest. ❤️

✨ Little things are becoming real…

A few weeks ago, these only existed on a screen.

Today, I’m holding my Sweetgrass Art Studio cards, branding materials, and packaging in my hands. New frames have arrived for larger pieces, and I’m getting ready to offer a few of my paintings as fine art prints for the first time.

It’s easy to focus on the next painting, the next project, or the next goal, but moments like this remind me how far this journey has already come.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my work, shared a post, offered encouragement, or chosen to bring a piece of my art into their space. Your support means more than you know.

The details on this one keep pulling me back in.

From delicate lacing to bold cells and section tells a different story. Some of my favorite details are hiding in the corners and along the edges.

I’m also testing this palette for a larger piece that will eventually hang above my bed. It’s exactly what I was hoping for.

This piece explores the quiet space between movement and rest. Soft layers smoky purples and neutrals flowing together in delicate lace-like patterns.
