I always looked forward to traveling, being with family and friends during the holidays. That was always my path to happiness this time of the year. This year, is so different. It is the blessings I count that help get me through the holidays. It is not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them. We should certainly count our blessings, but we should also make our blessings count. Happy, Healthy and Safe Holiday Season to all family and friends far and near. The painting below is titled "Pathway to Happiness". In life we make choices and hope we take the right paths to happiness. May all your paths lead to the journey of happiness. I hope and pray all will be with family and friends without wearing masks next year during the holidays. Bring on 2021 and the vaccine!

When two hearts meet sometimes it is forever… "Forever" was truly painted from my heart. Started teaching art right after I graduated college. I have come to realize that my 30 years of teaching art was not only for my students but for myself as well. I taught the students techniques over the years and now I go into my toolbox (matter of speaking) and use the techniques that I taught. I always told my students I can only teach you techniques not... style. Style of painting comes from within each and every one of us. As I developed "Forever" my mind wondered, it could mean so much to so many people. It could relate to sisters, cousins, one's children or friends. I hope everyone in their lifetime has a "Forever" friend. I would love for everyone who views this painting to just imagine what it might mean to you.
