Auditions for Mesa High School’s fall production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever are NEXT WEEK!

Auditions are come-and-go, so students do NOT need to stay for the entire two-hour window. They can select a time through the sign-up link on the website, come audition, and then head home!

We would LOVE to see students from across Mesa come out and audition, so please feel free to share or forward this information to any students, families, teachers, or programs you think might be interested.

Our very own Mr. V and his wife, Allyson, have officially made it to the SEMI-FINAL ROUND of America’s Favorite Couple! 🎉❤️

And y’all… THEY ARE SO. CLOSE.

After weeks of voting, sharing, campaigning, and probably annoying every friend and family member they’ve ever had 😂, Team Jere & Allyson is now just TWO WINS AWAY from the grand prize — and meeting JEFF GOLDBLUM! 🤯

🐰🎭 JACKRABBITS, WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT ELECTION TO WIN.

Our favorite drama teacher, Mr. V, and his considerably better half, Allyson, have somehow made it all the way to the QUARTERFINALS of America’s Favorite Couple! 😂❤️

And because we are theatre people, we simply cannot resist a little drama, a little competition, and an opportunity to rally the troops.

So, Jackrabbit Nation: WE NEED YOUR VOTES!

Jere & Allyson have been married for 24 years, raised three pretty fantastic kids, survived countless productions, rehearsals, opening nights, costume emergencies, questionable casting decisions, and approximately 47 billion hours spent inside theatres.

🎭 Hello, Jackrabbit Theatre Families! 🎭

Just a quick heads-up before school starts!

Every student enrolled in a Theatre class will need a Composition Notebook this year. Right now, Walmart has them on sale for just $0.38 each (regularly $1.04), so now is a great time to grab one!

If you're a shop-online family, we've included the link for your convenience.

We can't wait to meet everyone on Thursday and kick off what we know is going to be an AMAZING year!

And one more thing... if you know someone who's still looking for an elective, send them our way! We'd love to welcome them to the Jackrabbit Theatre family. Have them stop by Room 205 and see Mr. V. if they have any questions.

CALLING ALL HELPERS!!!

This Wednesday, June 24th at 10am our brilliant costume guru Aurelie will be on campus to help us get our giant costume room cleaned and organized.

This is AMAZING & EXCITING news!!!

We need your help!! We are looking for about 10 people who are willing to just follow directions and get things done with us. Zero experience. Zero design skills. Zero organization skills. Just a “will do” attitude, the ability to follow directions, and work hard for a few hours.

Congrats to all of the insanely talented kids from across the state who competed tonight at the ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Congrats to all the nominees, winners, and EVERYONE involved in any of the productions this past season. Y’all were inspiring! Wow!

We were honored to have been able to perform “Holding Out for a Hero” as a Best Dance Ensemble nominee. Congrats to Jude Crawford and Lea Barcelo who were nominated as finalists for the ASU Leadership Award and Best Supporting Actress.

What an amazing night. Here’s to NEXT year…
