THE MAN AT WORK!
Well…it’s from behind so you have to just take our word for it, but we swear the man in front is instructor JOHNNY KALITA working intensely with members of our current MEISNER WORKSHOP.
Remember you can get a complimentary taste of all the hard work they’ve accomplished during their FINAL SHOWCASE THIS Sunday, August 30th at NOON.

THE STAGE IS SET…
TWO MORE TIMES for MEASURE FOR MEASURE and then it leaves for good.
Today we have the penultimate performance at 2pm followed by the final performance at 6:00pm (note the curtain time) which will be a special STOP-ACTION performance where the performance is stopped at select moments and you get taken behind the scenes for secrets about what went into it.
Think directors commentary when watching a DVD - but LIVE!

TODAY 2pm and 7:30pm

and the 6pm is a special STOP ACTION PERFORMANCE led by director and Artistic Director Keath Hall. We will stop and discuss pivotal moments in the show as the performance is actively going on! You get to learn how certain moments in the play were created and developed in our interpretation.
After that, it’s gone for good.

STEAMY, CORRUPT VIENNA RETURNS TO SCOTTSDALE TONIGHT!

MEASURE FOR MEASURE centers on the conflict between strict justice and mercy and the abuse of power. It notoriously explores sexual morality, the necessity of forgiveness, and the tension between public reputation and private vice. Perhaps most immediate - the play questions the fairness of the law.
