Yá’át’ééh, my name is Caitlin Begay and I am a Diné artist. I took a long break from this page to focus on my education. If you did not know, I recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Art Education. I am going to continue creating art while inspiring the youth. Here is a digital drawing I created to represent a woman embracing the nature that surrounds her, the glowing hair was inspired by Rapunzel. My new brand name is Indigifairy 🧚🏽‍♀️🩷

Yá’áá’ééh, everyone! I’d like to reintroduce myself, I’m Caitlin Begay🧚🏽‍♀️ For those who don’t know me yet, I’m currently a full-time student at ASU, pursuing a degree in Art Education. As of right now, I’m interning at an elementary school, where I’m gaining valuable experience as an art teacher. I am also teaching photography classes on the weekends, which has been a fun experience so far.

Over the years, I’ve discovered my passion for both creating and teaching art. Before my beloved nali lady, Susie, passed away, I shared my dream of becoming an art teacher with her. She was always encouraging me to keep creating art and supporting me throughout my upbringing. I believe she’s watching over me with a smile and guiding me on this path 🥹🩷

I haven’t posted in a while, if any of you don’t know I am currently attending ASU to become an art teacher. Most of my time is dedicated to homework so I don’t get to create as much art as I would like. I made this for one of my classes tho I’m thinking of printing it on shirts or tote bags ☺️🫶🏽
