I had the fun job of helping to lead a feltmakers retreat in Contoocook this week. Here are a few photos! We did all kinds of felting as well as eco-dyeing and ice dying. Puppets, woven bowls, felt collage…we did it! Being part of the leadership reduced the amount of time I had to felt, but renewed connections and friendships made it even more special. There were 4 of us on the team, so we spread out the work of planning. Already looking forward to next year!

Here are some photos from my first ever all day workshop - Ornament day!! And the winner of the farthest distance traveled was Sarah who came all the way from Ireland! Sherry stayed all the way to the end!
We had 5 first time felters! 9 all together!
Thanks to everyone who came and hung out to create beautiful felted ornaments!

If you sew, what is the first thing you learned to sew? Tell me about your first sewing machine!

Yesterday, 2 young aspiring seamstresses joined me at the studio to learn how to sew! We learned how to thread the machine, how to stitch and all about our machine. Next time we are going to thread a new bobbin and stitch fabrics together to make yardage for a crazy apron!

Watercolor 101 started yesterday! If you still want in, I can get you caught up! We made our grid and are learning how our colors work…alone, with each other and with water! It’s a very important skill and teaches you so much about the watercolors that you have!
1 opening in the morning class 10-12
3 Openings in evening class from 6-8.
Next class is October 21st. Message me to get the details of our first class and the supply list!
