Meet the Family Behind Lucky B Roofing 👋

We figured it was time to properly introduce ourselves.

We are Bennett and Moni Waite, the husband and wife team behind Lucky B Roofing. And yes, this is it. No private equity. No investors. No franchise. No multiple branches. Just one local family serving North Alabama.

We don’t just work here. We live here.

Madison is home for our family. It’s where we are raising our daughter, Velle, building our business, making friends, and planting our roots for the future. We love this community and plan on being here for a very long time.

When Velle isn’t keeping us busy with softball, she’s our biggest helper at home. Family is at the center of everything we do, and that is exactly how we run our business.

Moni is our Operations Manager and honestly about 15 other job titles. She is the organized, Type A personality who keeps everything running smoothly. From scheduling and production to customer communication and keeping projects on track, she handles it all.

As for me, I’m the owner and insurance claim specialist. I spend a lot of time inspecting roofs and working with homeowners, but my real passion is educating people about roofs. My goal is to be the best roofing resource I can be for our community. Even if you never hire us, I want you to feel confident making the right decision for your home.

One thing that sets us apart is that we only build roofs one way.

We don’t offer a “cheap” roof by cutting corners. We invest in experienced crews, premium materials, proper ventilation, and required code upgrades, even when insurance doesn’t cover them. Those aren’t upcharges. That’s our standard.

Because we are truly family owned and operate from one location, we don’t carry the overhead of large corporations, franchises, or multiple branches. That allows us to keep pricing fair without sacrificing quality.
