Just a reminder, in only 4 weeks, the Treasure Valley Rodeo kicks off in Meridian, Idaho!

We are so excited to welcome everyone, June 26-27, for a weekend full of great rodeo action, western tradition, and community fun. The countdown is officially on, and I cannot wait to see all of you at the rodeo voted as Idaho’s Best Small Rodeo!

🇺🇸Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and the freedoms we hold so dear. Our freedom was not freely given, it was paid for through courage, selflessness, and unwavering love for America.

As we spend time with family and friends today, may we never forget those who gave their lives so that we may continue to live in freedom. We are forever grateful for their service, sacrifice, and legacy.

In just two weeks I will be checking into the Miss Rodeo Idaho Pageant!

I am incredibly grateful to the Treasure Valley Rodeo for believing in me, sponsoring me into this pageant, and giving me the opportunity to represent such an amazing rodeo over the past year. Serving as the Treasure Valley Rodeo Senior Queen has been one of the greatest blessings that God has given me. Through this title, I have met incredible people, grown in confidence and faith, created lifelong memories, and fallen even more in love with the western way of life and the rodeo community.

This opportunity try out for Miss Rodeo Idaho is so much more than a pageant to me. It is the chance to represent a rodeo whose mission is truly to “serve the community the cowboy way.” No matter what happens in the next few weeks, I will forever be thankful for the people who believed in me and supported me along this journey.

The Treasure Valley Rodeo is excited to announce our Sweethearts of the Rodeo program during the 2026 Treasure Valley Rodeo in Meridian, Idaho on June 26–27! 🌟

This special experience is designed for girls ages 4–7 to make memories, build confidence, and enjoy the western way of life alongside our Treasure Valley Rodeo Queens!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Today we celebrate the incredible women who nurture, guide, sacrifice, and love so selflessly. To all the mothers and mother-like figures who continually pour into the lives of those around them, thank you. Your strength, encouragement, and support do not go unnoticed.

Thank you, Mom, for always standing beside me, believing in me, and loving me through every season. I truly would not be where I am without you. I thank God that he gave me to you.

Sunday concluded the competition with the speech and modeling portion. Each contestant modeled throughout the room before taking the stage to deliver a two minute speech, followed by multiple impromptu questions. This phase of competition truly highlights their poise, personality, confidence, and public speaking abilities. All of these are essential qualities of a rodeo queen.

Once this portion was completed, the scores were carefully tallied and the new royalty was announced.

Congratulations to the 2026–2027 Court:

Teen Queen — Kinley Draper
Mini Queen — Ava Shoemaker

I cannot wait to see how they represent the Treasure Valley Rodeo in the year ahead as they serve as ladies in waiting until the crowns are officially passed on Saturday night of the rodeo, June 27.

Thank you to each parent, family member, friend, and fellow queen that showed up this weekend. Your support means so much to everyone competing as well as Rilynn and I! I am forever grateful for this community that God has placed in my life!
