Still in awe that Jason Pickett came to SDA to teach a master class and some private lessons! Having such an incredible choreographer, mentor and judge in our studio was a dream. 💜

Jason, thank you for making the drive, fitting us into your busy schedule, and staying with us until 10:30 last night! Seeing how happy and grateful our dancers and dance parents were made me so happy. You inspired all of us, and we’re excited to apply everything you taught us, carry your words with us, and continue growing throughout Season 10! Thank you for giving our dancers a night they’ll always remember! 🫶🏻

💜 BACK TO OUR HAPPY PLACE! 💜

Our first week of Season 🔟 classes is officially in the books, and what a WEEK it was! 🌟 Our studio was filled with so much happiness, laughter, energy, and DANCE!

A huge thank you to all of our returning dancers who continue to call SDA home and to all of our NEW dancers who joined our dance family this season. We are so grateful you chose SDA! 💜

Our first week was filled with name games, meeting new dance friends, trying new classes like Adult Ballet, taking pictures with our new birthday photo frame, dancing on our NEW Marley floor, and making so many new memories already!

One of our biggest focuses this year is COMMUNITY—creating a studio where dancers and families feel connected, supported, welcomed, and excited to be together. After just ONE week, we can already feel it. The energy has been so positive, fun, and special! ✨

And this is only the beginning! We have SO much to look forward to this season, including UConn football halftime performance, performing with Jessica Lynn, seeing the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular in NYC, and one of our biggest adventures yet—dancing in the Disney parade! 🏰✨

📸 We LOVE seeing your SDA pictures and videos! Please post your first-week memories and tag us on social media so we can share in the excitement!

Happy National Dance Day from our SDA family! 💜🌟

Here’s to SEASON 🔟! 🎉

🎉💜 AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE AN SDA PARTY! 💜🎉

Thank you to EVERYONE who came out last night to celebrate SDA’S 10TH BIRTHDAY! 🥳

There was something so special about seeing so many people in our SDA community come together to celebrate this HUGE milestone. The studio was filled with love, laughter, positivity, excitement, memories, and so much SDA spirit! 💜

We celebrated BIG with bounce houses, games, raffles, a photo booth, popcorn, cotton candy, food, cupcakes, a slideshow filled with memories, and an adults-only room with a ch*****ne toast! 🥂🎂🎈📸
This party took a village, and we have SO many people to thank! 🫶🏻

💜 Thank you to our incredible teachers & staff, Miss Q, Miss Rebecca, Mr. Tom, Mr Mike, Miss Blondie, Miss Allison, Miss Sharon and Auntie Char, for all of your help before, during and after the party and for helping make it the BEST celebration ever! WE KNOW HOW TO THROW A PARTY! 🥳

🎈 Thank you to Jennelis and Tiff for creating our AMAZING star balloon arch and to the DiFonzo family for the beautiful balloon stands that helped bring everything together!

🌟 Thank you to Jackie, Jenn, the Valenzuela family and Ericka for jumping in and helping throughout the party. We truly could not have done it without all of your help!

🧁 A special thank you to our very first sweet neighbor, Brenda’s Cupcakes, for our beautiful cake and cupcakes! The perfect treat to celebrate 10 years! 🎂

💜 And a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, contributed, volunteered, brought something, or supported this celebration in any way. Every single contribution helped us create such a special night for our dancers and families!

Most importantly, thank you to every dancer and family, past and present, who has been part of our story over these last 10 YEARS. SDA would not be what it is today without this incredible community. 💜🌟

We missed everyone who couldn’t celebrate with us last night, but this was only the beginning of our Season 10 celebrations!

And now it’s time for what we’ve all been waiting for…
SEASON 10 CLASSES START TOMORROW — 9/10!

⚾️ WHAT A WAY TO KICK OFF SEASON 🔟! ⚾️

SDA took the field at the Hartford Yard Goats game for not one, but 2 special performances — pregame AND right before the fireworks! 🎆 Thank you to the Hartford Yard Goats for continuing to invite SDA back year after year! We absolutely love performing at Dunkin’ Park and creating these unforgettable experiences and memories with our dancers and SDA families! 💜

From 5 years old to adults, our dancers learned and prepared these performances in just 3 quick rehearsals, and we could not be more proud of how they represented SDA! 🌟

The game was SOLD OUT, but we’re pretty sure the 100+ SDA family members, friends, and supporters made up the loudest and most supportive section in the stadium! The energy and love from our SDA family was incredible!

A few extra special shoutouts:
💜 Three of our graduating seniors who took the field with us!
💜 All of the siblings who got to perform together!
💜 Our mother-daughter duos who shared the field together!
💜 Our SDA body flags, Mallory, G & Elle, for making our performances stand out even more!
💜 Our youngest dancers who stayed up and brought the energy all the way through our 9:45 PM performance!
💜 Our incredible adult dancers and SDA teachers who performed— your dedication, energy, and love for SDA made last night even more special!
💜 And to everyone who came out to cheer us on and support SDA — we felt the love from the stands!

And a HUGE thank you to Miss Q for helping choreograph and coordinate! 🫶🏻

These are the moments that make SDA so special — different ages and generations of dancers coming together, supporting one another, making memories, and sharing their love of dance. 💜
