The Olde Church Acoustic Series The Olde Church Acoustic Series is a monthly celebration of original music!

Hosted at the iconic 1876 First Church of Meriden, the nonprofit series has become synonymous with outstanding live performances, superior acoustics & inspirational architecture! The Olde Church Acoustic Series is a monthly celebration of music created and performed by Connecticut's finest singers and songwriters. As a relentless promoter of CT's renowned local music, the late great Mike Wilcox founded the series in 2016 and the series moved to Meriden in 2020. Each year the Series produces eight shows in the church and four outdoor summer events. The indoor shows offer affordable home-cooked dinner options in Fellowship Hall and FREE and easy parking in the garage at 24 Colony Street. The Olde Church Series thanks our generous sponsors including: MEDCO, City of Meriden, Prentis Printing Solutions, Gallery 53, Telefunken Microphones, CUNO Foundation and Meriden Foundation and of course CT's supportive radio stations: WPLR's Local Band Show, Cygnus Radio, WESU, WHUS, and iCRV Radio.
