LRD Senior Shout-out!
Maria Nedeau...WE LOVE YOU!!
This fall, I will be attending Endicott College to study Exercise Science with an Athletic Training track. I’m excited to continue my dance journey by joining one of Endicott’s dance clubs and beginning my path as a choreographer. I started dancing here at LRD 15 years ago as a three-year-old in Miss Mary’s creative movement class. It feels incredibly full circle to now be a teacher at LRD for the littles. I’ve loved every moment of my time here, and it’s hard to believe that it’s finally my time to move on. First, I want to thank my family for always being my biggest supporters, especially my mom and dad, who have been there every step of the way and have made all of this possible. I also want to thank my entire LRD family, both littles and bigs, for making the past 15 years something I will cherish forever. To Level 7, thank you for being the best group of friends I could ask for. From countless nights together to all the hard work we put in, you’ve always been there for me, and I’m so grateful for every memory we’ve made. A special thank you to my best friend, Avery Chick. You are one of the kindest and most supportive people I know. Thank you for standing by my side for the past six years. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you.Thank you to all of my dance teachers for believing in me and pushing me to grow not only as a dancer but as a person. And last but not least, thank you to Lea King, the person who made me fall in love with dance. From my very first day, you’ve been a constant in my life. Thank you for trusting me with the roles of Captain and Teacher and for teaching me lessons that go far beyond dance. You’ve truly been like a second mom to me, and I know I will always have you to turn to. LRD has always been more than just a dance studio. It’s a family, and that’s what makes it so special. This isn’t a goodbye, it’s just a “see you later.” I will always come back to visit, and I know I will always have a home here. Thank you for everything. I love you, LRD.
