We are less than 30 days out from the next Free Weekend here at the Mercer Airsoft Center. The next edition of the Free Weekend will take place on June 27th and 28th. The Free Weekend is our customer appreciation event which is held three times each season. It also doubles as an advertised swap meet. Gameplay, camping and participation in the swap meet are all FREE. We hope that everyone comes and joins us as we continue to celebrate our 16th year in business.

We're back with more airsoft! There is only one event scheduled at the field for this weekend with MACMS Greenhorn on Saturday, May 30th. There will be no event for Sunday since the majority of our staff is participating and helping with the event on Saturday. MACMS Greenhorn is a special event with certain expectations and requirements in addition to the regular field rules which can be found here: https://mercerairsoftcenter.com/pages/macms-greenhorn.

The special discount may have passed but tickets are still available online until Friday night and will be available at the gate on the day of. It is important to note that once the safety briefing has started at 11:00 AM, it is unlikely that we will admit additional players. If you want to participate in this event, you are expected to arrive on-time.

The store will be open during normal business hours this week with Wednesday through Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

We are looking for staff members!

Our staff members are the keystone to what we do. Please note that staff member status is not formal employment. Our staff members are players first who have decided to take on the extra responsibility of advancing our mission and community. Responsibilities may include marshal (referee) tasks on-field and store tasks off-field. Our staff members are compensated for their time and enjoy benefits such as staff specific discounts and free gameplay.

REQUIREMENTS

Prospective staff members must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Prospective staff members must be able to cover two (2) shifts per month in order to maintain staff status and benefits. Prospective staff members must be able to utilize the Discord app and be a member of our community server as that is where all official staff communication takes place.

Just a couple of days left to save on tickets for MACMS Greenhorn which will take place here at the Mercer Airsoft Center on Saturday, May 30th, 2026. Tickets are currently at $30.00 and will increase to $40.00 after 11:59 PM on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026. MACMS Greenhorn will be the only event held that weekend and on Sunday, May 31st, 2026, the center will only be open for store operations.

We ask players to remember that the structure of the event was changed to an equal force-on-force and that uniform requirements have been removed. Other requirements, such as the use of mid-capacity magazines, are still in place. Players who are under the age of 18 must be vouched for by a participating adult player who also holds a ticket to the event.

Tickets will be available at the event but we ask that players keep in mind that we will not accept new registrations once the safety briefing has started at 11:00 AM. This event is designed to run for five (5) continuous hours and we will not admit you while the event is in progress.

Hello Airsofters!

We wanted to provide an update on MACMS Greenhorn which is scheduled to take place here at the Mercer Airsoft Center on May 30th, 2026. The decision has been made to reformat the event into a force-on-force styled event with concerns from registration numbers where one faction was extremely overpopulated compared to the other. Given the trend, we did not expect these numbers to balance out over the next 31 days. We made this decision in order to avoid the risk of a possible event cancellation. The event mechanics have not changed outside of the team format. There are no uniform color, gear color or equipment restrictions or expectations outside of the magazine capacity requirements outlined in the event packet. The event tickets are now one general ticket and teams will be separated on the day of the event. We apologize to anyone who may find the change inconvenient but rather than take the chance of the event not happening at all, we'd rather pick the better solution in front of us.
