UCM Pool Hall Junkies

UCM Pool Hall Junkies Billiards association established by student billiard aficionados at the University of California Merced.

This Club was created to provide a great way to build friendships and test skills through tournaments and competitive play, as well as simply for fun. There was always a specific group of founders that would get together in order to better their game, however in the larger scheme of thing wanted to grow pool at UCM into a much larger purpose. Establishing friendships along the way gave rise to an ambition to spread the love and appreciation of billiards to the entire Merced community.

Greetings fellow Bobcats, OSL is hosting Billiards and Ice cream the 11th at our home,The Cue spot , from 6 to 8 pm. So if you're still in town for the summer be sure to check it out.

We managed to make a major comeback from last place and ended up 4th overall in The Cuespot's BCA League this season.

It is with great sadness that we bid a final farewell to our Club Adviser, Donald Gil Gillis. Gil passed away this past weekend. Gil's knowledge and passion for the game of pool was unmatched. He feared no one, from rookie to pro.His charm never failed to put a smile on your face. We were blessed to have had the privilege to practice under him. He provided all of us with some great moments that will not soon be forgotten.
He leaves behind his wife, Julie and two daughters. Keep them in your hearts and prayers.
He was our mentor, coach and friend.

You will be dearly missed.
