Spend Spooky Season Merced’s Only Public Pottery Studio 🎃

🏃‍♀️ Pace + Paint with Ａｌｔｅｒ 𝗘𝗴𝗼 Run Club 🐘🐘🐘 — run around Downtown Merced Partnership, then head to the studio to paint your own ceramic keychain.

🕷️ Creepy Clay Crawl (back-to-back sessions!)— five creative stations, spooky studio vibes, live creatures, snacks, BYOB and a reward once you’ve finished the event.

🎓 College Nite — a low-pressure, beginner-friendly handbuilding night just for UC Merced and Merced College students.

💀 Ofrendas — handbuild your own meaningful clay altar, then decorate it with underglazes.

👾 Muddy Monsters — a playful, kid-friendly workshop where little artists can create their own wonderfully weird monster.

🕸️ Paint with Spiderman — ceramic painting + games, photos and a visit from your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man from Classic Princess Parties Official .

Our next session of 6-Week Beginning Basics courses kicks off the week of September 20!

Designed for complete beginners and anyone who could use a refresher, you’ll build a solid foundation in ceramics while learning:

September is a special one for us ✨ Merced’s Only Public Pottery Studio

🚧 EXPANSION CLOSURE: We will be completely closed Sept. 13–19 while we make the big transition into our second location Downtown Merced Partnership and get extended programming ready for our clay community. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been building!

🏺 Six-Week Courses return the week of Sept. 20! These aren’t shown on this calendar, but the upcoming session includes Wheel Throwing, Handbuilding, Surface Design + Youth courses.

One-time workshops include StoryStudio, Kids Wheel, ClayClub, Jack o’ Lantern Jars, W**e + Wheel, College Nite and more throughout the month.

Fall into Clay Merced’s Only Public Pottery Studio 🍂

It may have been a short summer, but we can’t be the only ones ready for some cooler weather?! Now’s the perfect time to get back into a routine... and the Studio ;)

Courses kick off the week of September 20 - and they WILL sell out, so snag your spot early!

If you haven’t heard the news, we’re expanding!
Our new location, EarthWorks Studio, is located Downtown Merced Partnership a half-block down from ClaySpace and will be the home for all adult six-week course students + our member hub.

Less students = more attention, more space, more opportunity to grow creatively

TACO TUESDAY is coming to Merced’s Only Public Pottery Studio 🌮

In this month’s edition of Adult ClayClub, we’re handbuilding ceramic taco stands—because balancing three tacos on a dinner plate is a problem we simply don’t need to live with anymore 🙂‍↔️

We’ll provide the clay, tools, instruction, and all the good Taco Tuesday vibes. Your ticket also includes sangria + ce***za, plus snacks like chips and salsa & guacamole to munch on while you create.

No experience needed—just come ready to make something fun, sip something tasty, and spend the evening with some pretty great people.
